Chelsea Hagy, LPCC

Therapist

I’m an enneagram 2, extroverted, empathetic, and direct. I believe in the power of hope and healing. Therapy to me is where art, science, and spirituality meet. There’s an art to building a relationship and walking alongside you through uncertainty. The science comes in through the evidence-based therapies I use, like EMDR and ACT, offering a clear path toward healing. And the spiritual side is found in those moments of raw vulnerability when real transformation happens.

I believe in meeting you exactly where you are with honesty, compassion, and the tools to help you move forward. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they build resilience, find clarity, and rediscover themselves.

  • Pregnancy & Postpartum Support

Therapeutic Approach

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a therapy that helps you accept difficult thoughts and emotions instead of fighting them. Through mindfulness, self-compassion, and value-driven action, ACT empowers you to build a fulfilling life—without getting stuck in negativity or avoidance.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps reprocess trauma and distressing memories using guided eye movements or bilateral stimulation. This reduces their emotional intensity, allowing you to heal and move forward with greater peace.

  • Intensive Therapy

Intensive EMDR accelerates healing with longer, focused sessions, helping you process trauma more efficiently. This approach maintains momentum for deeper breakthroughs, offering faster relief for those with limited time or seeking intensive support. Learn more.

  • Christian Counseling

For clients who wish to integrate their Christian faith into therapy, Christian counseling combines spirituality with evidence-based care. Whether seeking strength, navigating doubt, or wanting a therapist who understands your beliefs, this approach supports healing through a spiritual lens.

  • “Chelsea is an excellent, empathetic listener who gave me a safe and professional space to feel heard. Something that stood out to me during my first two sessions was her ability to accommodate my comfort level and meet me where I am. When I started doing EMDR, I was intimidated by the different methods of bilateral stimulation (tapping, lights, etc). Chelsea kindly let me use buzzers that I could hold in my hands. It made the entire process feel more approachable. The reason I mention that is because EMDR helped me a LOT, and her flexibility played a large role in that. It’s been around 10 months since I’ve completed therapy, and I still think about my sessions with Chelsea. She not only helped me through a really hard time in my life, but she gave me the tools I needed to move forward and better cope with things that come my way. That’s the part that really sticks with me today. Chelsea challenged me to grow, and made me genuinely excited to work on myself outside of sessions (even when it was hard). If you’re looking for a counselor who is passionate about what they do, wants to see you succeed, and is full of enthusiasm and compassion, I highly recommend Chelsea!”

  • "Chelsea was amazing! She is incredibly easy to talk to and an excellent listener. She always made me feel comfortable and never judged, no matter what I shared. Chelsea asked thoughtful questions that helped me look inward and recognize areas where I could work on myself and my overall outlook. Her advice and therapy techniques were genuinely helpful. I would highly recommend Chelsea to anyone—she is kind, supportive, and truly great at what she does."
